A short summary for the early preview. The full privacy policy is being written with a lawyer and will be here before launch.

What the app keeps

Your answers to the two-minute check (your goal, country, whether you trade and roughly how, the markets you're interested in, and your quiz answers) and your progress: the classes you've played, your XP and your streak. They shape your course and let you carry on where you left off.

Where it is kept

During the preview, your answers and progress stay on your own device, in your browser's storage. They are not sent to us. The app makes a random ID for your device: no name, no email, no phone number.

Later, outside the US, the EU and EEA, the UK and Switzerland, a copy may be kept on our server so you don't lose your progress. This page will say so before it happens. In those countries, everything will keep staying on your device.

The AI tutor

When you ask the AI tutor a question, have an explanation marked, get the coach's note after a class, or paste a message into the scam check, what you wrote goes to our server and on to Anthropic, the company whose AI (Claude) writes the answer. With it go the class it is about and the country you gave. Nothing else: not your ID, your progress or your other answers. E-mail addresses and long numbers are taken out first, but please don't paste names, phone numbers or account details.

The scam check also looks up the brokers and websites your message names in our broker list, on our server, without AI. That text isn't kept either.

We don't keep what you wrote or the answer. To keep the tutor free, our server counts how many AI answers each device gets in a day, under a code that changes every day, and deletes the count the next day. It also keeps a short log of the questions the tutor declined (when, why and the country, never the words), for 30 days, to check it behaves.

Brokers

Your answers are never shared with a broker unless you say so, later, and only for brokers you name. The preview has no broker features at all.

Deleting it

In the app, open Me, then Your data, then Delete my data. Clearing your browser's data for app.thetradingcampus.com does the same.

This website

This website sets no cookies and uses no trackers or analytics.
